The last local noodle dish I get to try at Naga is what they call “Log Log”. All Kinalas joints around the city are also selling this particular dish which turned out to be Kinalas without the “kalas” or the fatty meat from the cow or pig’s head. For only 15Php a serving, it is a cheap but equally filling dish as breakfast or merienda especially for the numerous students who were also customers during our visit.
Bolofer’s Goto and Kinalas is an “Open 24 hours” eatery located very near our hotel. During my first visit of Naga in 2011, it is also the same place where I was introduced to Kinalas.
For only Php.15, a small bowl consist of bigger-than-usual fresh egg noodles, soup stock from the pig’s head, special gravy-like brown sauce and some sprinkle of green onions. By adding a mixture of condiments – calamansi, soy sauce and chilli oil and by adding 5php for egg and/or 10php for a small pack of chicharon it is truly one of those “Solved Na!” meals for tighter budget.
